Shana

      Shana Smith is a country music artist and songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. In her young career, she has penned hundreds of songs and performed country classics in legendary venues such as the Blue Bird Cafe & Douglas Corner as well as live performances on a variety of TV shows. Shana has been featured in numerous videos and commercials and continues to cross genres with her broad demographic appeal and down to earth personality. In 2012, she released her first independent album, "The Heart of Happiness" writing all the tunes with  legendary songwriter Chris Gantry.

    Shana was inducted as a new member of the Wheeling Jamboree, the second-longest running radio show in America, in October 2013 and released “Live from the Wheeling Jamboree” in 2014. She is a member of the CMA (Country Music Association) and has had the honor of participating in the annual CMA Fest in Nashville, TN. Her live performances include a variety of country classics and favorites from the greats such as Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire while mixing in her own flair of original music. Shana is requested regularly for fairs, patriotic celebrations, opry's and special events.

      In 2016, Shana recorded an EP entitled, "Somebody Misses You", a modern revision of country classics mixed with her own original songs. Aside from her music endeavors, Shana celebrated her first children's book published, "Sheldon and the Big Hurricane" that she self-illustrated and co-wrote.

       In 2017, Shana achieved her life-long dream of creating and developing a musical teleplay and continues to encourage others to nurture their own creativity in all aspects of life with her music and creative endeavors. After moving to Ohio with her husband David, Shana continues to travel to Nashville and creative hot spots to perform, write and to be inspired.
